Had this Audi S4 come in a few weeks ago. This was a transplant car that lived the first 4 years of it's life in Massachusetts. This spring, it came to live in Central PA. The roads and driving style in Mass, were hard on this vehicle. You will see in the video that the engine was filthy and the exterior took quite a beating.

I used Scholl's S3 compound to clean it up with a Rupes 21 and Meguiar's MF cutting discs. For finish, it was HD Polish on a black finishing pad.

Enjoy the video!

Wow! I looked at a couple other vids you had on the playlist as well, great vids and good music :-)

What editing software are you using and what computer?

Also, give me a run down of all the framed certificates in the background....Oh and obviously, stellar work on the Audi.

HUMP

I used iMovie on my MacBook Pro. It is quite a capable software package for videos like this. There is a lot it can do when you start digging into it.

The certs: IDA membership ( International Detailing Association), my business license, meguiars training, headlight restoration training, Esoteric Detaining Elite Detailer Training, and my daughter's foot prints (fathers's day gift) :-)

What did you use on the tires, they look great!

I used Black Pearl tire coating. It is a product that is just hitting the market. I was trying it out before it was available. I wouldn't be surprised if Autogeek picks it up at some point. It is a great product.

Great job Ken, thanks for sharing. I love specific car posting threads to know what works for them.

Car came from Massachusetts? Yikes.

That is where I am. That car would be the best looking finish I've ever laid my hands on to start with... These New England cars are just...trashed.

Came out awesome!

I hate working on black paint, but I love watching them drive away after I've had my paws all over it.
