Well, a close friend just picked this up from the dealer, brand new, and already had extremely bad swirls etc... he wanted it cleaned up and preferred the cost of a one step option. After testing D151, XMT 360, WG TSR and Menz 203, we settled on Menz 203/WG TSR.
Process was:
ONR wash 2 bucket method
APC+ on wheels and tires and wheel wells
tires dressed with Meg's M40 and trim.
XMT 360 clay with ONR lube
Flex 3401 HT cyan pad with Menz. 203/ WG TSR
Sealed with wolfgang 3.0 sealant

photos taken of swirls were taken using my surefire 6P light and camera.

Heres it some before, during, and after shots....
All taped up:

Wow, that was a lot of scratches on a new vehicle! Finished product looks AWESOME!

light was going down when we finished up and best shots are the last ones with the sun hitting it. He was extremely happy to see how different even a new car can look after a detail like this.

Great work.

As I understand it you mixed WGTSR and Menz.203 for your one-step....interesting. I may be mistaken, but isn't TSR Wolfgang's version of 203?

I have not had as much success with the cyan pad finishing real well...always end up with a little marring that has to be taken care of. You did a great job.

no ran out of 203 and use TWR on the hood and front fenders. I guess I should have specified that at the begining

Thanks for the clarification...very nice work, particularly for a 1-step.

Outstanding work! I'm amazed at how badly that car looked new from a dealership!

:xyxthumbs:

thanks to another dealership hack who gives everyone that works at a dealer a bad rap whether they deserve it or not. nice work on that ss. love those cars.
