This is my uncle's car. He just bought it in the beginning of the year with 10k miles on it.
Let me start out by telling you a little history on it (Yes i know it's new how can it have history already). This is there "new" road car. My Aunt and Uncle have a house up in upper state New York, so multiple times per year they go up there. They have already been up there 3 times this year. They don't fly because my Aunt doesn't fly. So this SHO retired the Chevy Avalanche they have been using to drive up there. And on top of the trips to New York, they just made a trip out to Colorado to see there son because he was in the hospital. So after all those trips, it now has 30,xxx miles in about 7 months.
The car wasn't in very bad shape at all. Very clean inside. Outside wasn't bad considering where it has been. The swirls were very minimal, so this was strictly a wax only job. I did do a little correction on the doors where the keypad is as you will see. He wanted it detailed because they are leaving Thursday for New York again...
Now onto the Pics:
Before:

He also just had new tires put on it like 3 days ago.

LOOK AT THIS FLAKE! It is very hard to find the swirls on this one, but once I got it into the garage and looked at it, it wasn't bad because my uncle is one of the few people I know who knows the right washing procedures. Which for not being on any detailing forums is surprising...

Finally got the right bottle for the Collinite 845!

Afters in next post!

Here are the afters:
I used 303 aerospace protectant on the inside and Collinite 845 on the outside.

There was some pitting on the front bumper, but that was expected seeing where the car has been.

No more swirls here:

Thanks for viewing!
And also from my uncles collection of cars, be looking for his:
2002 Ford Thunderbird that I have been detailing but never put up,
and his NEW 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302.... Can't wait for that one!

What a tremendous save on that Taurus!

All kidding aside.

The car had some miles on it and was in need of a complete detail. I absolutely love the flake reflection shot on the door! Some of these factory colors are allot like the custom painting I used to do back in the 1970's and 1980's.

The finished product looks fantastic and you must have 2 very satisfied customers!! :props:

Those are awesome cars with the Ecoboost! I was looking at the MKS which has the same motor but ended up going with the MKX. You got her looking nice there.

Nice job! I'm still trying to figure out why they are so effing big though. My co-worker has a new taurus and it dwarfs my car.

It's a cryin' shame how some people treat special cars like they're nothing but "just a car"...

My uncle is very good with his cars. He is one of the few that I know who washes his cars regularly and the right way.
And I talked to him last night, because I detailed this while he was away in Captiva, FL for labor day and he was thrilled with the outcome. He also told me he took delivery of his Boss 302..... But that one won't be for a while as the dealer did there number on it before he had any say so.

i like the bottle you have for the 845.

i was cursing the cap on mine over the weekend.

what bottle is that? ketchup/mustard/mayo bottle?

I love what you did with the "SHOW." I would really like to see what you have done with your uncle's '02 retro-Bird! That's one of the cars I have.

I bet the car really pops when the sun is shining! Looks great!. All he needs is a set of Weather Tech Digi-Fit floor mats!:xyxthumbs:

I just did his 02 T-Bird today! I will have pics up this weekend! It wasn't bad of course. It gets very well taken care of.

Thanks 02accordSE! I'll be looking forward to seeing your pictures.
