Here in my part of Texas we are under a severe water shortage so all of us have to use the drive through car washes. Witch we all know will murder a paint job.
So a friend of mine has a beautiful Acura that had swirls literally all over the car from the car washes. I had to help them out because it is far too beautiful of a car to leave like this.
Here are some of the before pix

Right under the gas cap and on the rear fender was the worst. View attachment 22310
Here is the same area after using m105 and about 15 passes.

I used my griot 6
Started with a microfiber pad but switched to the orange LC. I need some more practice with the microfiber pads.
I started with clay
Next M 105 with orange pad
Mcguires ultimate polish with white pad
Topped with carnuba with a healing pad.

Nice Job! If your on a water restriction Waterless washes are a great way to go.

It would be they don't know anything about waterless car wash.

Looks like a 2012 Advanced... unless he upgraded the front grill and bumper

Great save!

They must have used one of the 'hand' car washes that uses the same sponges/towels all day?

They weren't 100% on the year of the car so I'm not sure;)

If they ever trade in or sell the car, there would be couple of thousands of dollars in difference so do them a favor and let them know.

The reasons why I was guessing it was a 2012 is that the pre 2012, TL had a different style front grill (or referred to as a "beak") and bumper. Acura decided to take off the "ACURA" badge on the trunk lid starting 2013. The wheels on the car are 19" wheels that comes with the Advance pkg. The Advance pkg also included blind spot detector that is not visible in the pics.

It could well be a 2010 with the front grill/bumper and wheel upgrade as well.

Or... I guess you can simply take a look at their registration! lol

BTW... great work on the car!
