I have had the honors of touching the paint of my 1st supercar or whatever the GTR is classified as. The owner is a friend of mine and asked me to detail his car. The car is a daily driver unless the weather is bad and it showed that. It had not really ever been properly taken care of as far as washing, polishing, and waxing goes. He was wanting a spot correction, polish, seal & wax, engine bay cleaning, and interior cleaning.

Lets start with the way it showed up to my house. It had not been washed in the previous few weeks and the back bumper showed it. The car is modded and makes a little over 500whp(it ran me down on my Ducati faily easy!) and dumps black crap all over the rear end. That stuff doesn't come off very easy! The pictures will show you some of the filth on it.

These 1st pictures are the way the car showed up to me being filthy and some of the spots needing some serious love.

Here is to show you how nasty it was.

Here it is after getting "cleaned"

Just some photos from afterwards. I wanted to get somepics out in the sun but it has rained all day and only had a short window to get it out in the overcast.

Amazing turn around pretty cool thinking of showing a 50/50 of how the car looks when clean, and dirty

Even after being washed the rear end was stained from the soot. M205 had a tough time cutting it. The entire rear was compounded with M105 to clean it up. After that I learned the rear bumper had been resprayed but a very poor body man. It has unmatching paint, dust in it, and a couple runs on the passenger side near the taillights. Such a shame for a car like this.

Very nice results! I honestly thought the car had matte black exhausts as an option . So it was funny seeing it all shiny.

Very nice results. I'd use coating to protect this SOFT paint

I've mentioned that to the owner and he wasn't that interested in it this go around. He said he may be later when it needs cleaned up again. The windows have a coating from the previous owner.

Those exhaust tips are the only stock portion of the exhaust and I don't think have ever been cleaned. I can't describe to you how nasty they were before I washed the car.

Looking good! Nice 50/50 pic.
Thank you! I had to do something to show how filthy this car was. Now I have to get him on a maintenance schedule for it!

Finally another GTR! It's been a while since someone posted one. Great job!

Wow, there was some serious grime behind the rear plate.
Whenever I took the plate off I think I almost #### myself. This is a car that is taking well care off mechanically, not-so-much on the looks department. In the past year I don't think it had ever been hand washed. It had been sprayed off at a car wash, detail sprayed to get what was left, spray wax for the entire car, and Zymol cleaner wax for the rear end just to remove some of the soot that was embedded. That was how this car car has been treated for the past year. To each their own, but a car like this needs to be treated much better than that imo.

I've noticed nobody ever posts something about a GTR. I love this car. It's by far the best bang for the buck if you're looking for a car that does what it does. This GTR has a few mods and has a few more psi than stock so it's a stout running car. From a 40 roll I left him on my 848, at 140 I only had a car on him and he was pulling on me hard. It has a very pleasant sound when running you down lol.
