My mom is your A-typical car owner. She bought her Terrain new and loves it but really isn't big on maintenance. She goes through those touchless auto washes every once in a while but that's about it. I'm sure the vehicle has never been waxed.
I didn't get much for before pictures but I more or less wanted to show case how well the TarX worked. I was so pleased with using a product that actually works exactly like they say it does.

She managed to get tar on every panel except the hood and roof!

Spray it on, let it sit for a minute, agitate lightly and it comes right off! (big lumps might need a few rinse & repeat cycle)

Very impressed with the product... although the sprayer broke shortly into my detailing session so I was less than pleased with that.

After. I didn't need to wash because it was actually pretty clean. The whole vehicle was clayed and Wolfgang Concourse Paint Sealant was machine applied and allowed to cure for about an hour before buffing off. We also scrubbed the tires and foamed them. The wheels also got a coating of sealant.

One thing I did learn was that garage kept vehicles are definitely much better off. The whole vehicle was clayed but I barely removed anything. Also, the GM clear must be hard because there were barely any swirls.

Some chips on the front but that just happens with gravel road driving which she does consistently.
I taught my mom a few techniques and she did the whole interior herself and helped with cleaning door jambs, scrubbing tires, claying, windows, etc. She actually picked up most of the techniques I taught her quickly and was very pleased with the outcome of this quick detail.
