Here's my GTI. Decided she was a little dirty today after completing an Interior and Exterior Protection Detail on an 09 CTS-V earlier this morning.

Wheels were cleaned with Duragloss 901 Car Wash through a foaming sprayer head and various brushes. Tires were cleaned with Meg's APC 4:1... yet the Einszett Vinyl/Rubber Care that was on them was STILL beading the APC after two weeks.

The car was rinsed with free flowing water and dried with a Meg's Water Magnet and a super plush microfiber drying towel.

Thanks for looking!

That last one should be your profile pic. It's amazing what a good wash with a good saop can do to a cars paint.

What lens are you using, the stock 18-55mm? Some shots looked like you had a fast 50 on it.

Just the 18-55mm VR Kit lens.

I want a 50, but they get pricy since I need one with the AF motor in the lens.

Wow, I am impressed how much the background was thrown out of focus for a f/3.5 lens! The 50 1.4 is a little much at close to $500, but they say it's worth it.

beautiful car and job. i had a 07 orange farenheit number 4 in the run. set it up as a track car, alcon brakes, 300 hp on chip. loved that car. embarrassed many muscle cars with it. gtis are just so good at almost everything. like your color.
