It's shocking to see what a detailer or dealership considers "great work"
Considering that your time, the air fare, and hotel, restaurants etc., must have set the dealership back 3K (or more) I bet they are looking for a new staff car prep guy.
Did you take any measurement of the paint's thickness before you started to work?
I know that AM lays down more paint build on their cars and they can stand quite a bit of correcting before the clear gets too thin. But it's just horrible that the first person to touch it did so much damage, and then you had to do so much work to remove it.
How much of the clear do you thing the car has lost since it left the factory?
