I was contacted by my local Audi dealer to perform a new car prep on this 2011 Phantom Black R8 Spyder.

Customer had already taken delivery one week prior and had not washed the car so I thought it would be a moderate correction since there shouldn't have been any wash induced marring......boy was I wrong. Turns out the onsite lot jockeys got a hold of it before delivery.

What I thought would be a 6-8 hour detail turned into a 14 hour correction.

8:00am...time to get started:

Great job. That's a beautiful car.

What products did you use?

Very nice! I am amazed at how these brand new cars come in all hacked up. Around here they just sit them on the lot looking like that. Nice work Richie!

:eek:A brand new Audi swirled up THAT bad?!?

Great save!:dblthumb2:

To sum it up in one would be "FRESH"

:iagree:best response!!! I thought I was the only one left in the world that used the 80's term "fresh."

You did an awesome job! I thought the first two pics were clean but dang!!!....it turned out great! Good job!

On another note...nice garage and driveway!

You really saved that car man. Phantom black R8's look so good cleaned up like that.

I wonder how much the "onsite lot jockeys" have cost that dealer in makeovers.

How many customers know enough about their auto's finish to demand your services to make it right.
