2011 Camaro - Show Car Finish by Dodo Juice - Modeled by Amy

For anyone that hasn't used the new Optimum G-P-S, now that I've used it on a couple of cars it's a really cool product.

Removes light swirls, polishes the paint to a super high gloss, wipe off is a breeze and leaves a very slick, protected surface.

:xyxthumbs: on the G-P-S product. So easy, it hurts....plus it looks great and adds protection. I was a bit surprised by the cut it has...I was assuming it would be very limited being an AIO, but this can surprise you. I was using the Optimum MF polishing pad.

When going through all the pictures taken during these projects there's always some that never get up just due to the time issue... for example here's Adam doing the very thing you posted...

And everyone that attendees these projects to help out always does great work and Adam is one of the guys that always finds a task that needs to be addressed and then just goes for it!

Thanks Adam!

:)

I like the choice of machines, pads, and product combinations. These allow the user to see what the performance capability of each has to offer and how much correction and gloss they bring to the game...:props:

Truly a glowing success!! :dblthumb2:

Good observation...

These car projects always surprise me... I get out all the tools and encourage everyone to try them all and just like our machine polishing classes, people will tend to gravitate towards specific tools that they find more to their liking.

Ron really seems to like the Cyclo polisher. He also used it during the 1969 Camaro Pace Car project...

Ron is da man! Check out how he flips the Cyclo vertically to tackle the back face of the rear spoiler...

This is the new Cyclo Mark 5 Variable Speed Polisher which you can tell by the variable speed dial just below his right hand...

We're buffing out a black SSR tomorrow night and Ron also owns an SSR that he's going to bring to the garage one of these nights...

I've also booked a very special car that's coming up very quickly...

:D

Great work everyone that was involved, and thanks for taking the time to put up the pics and info Mike! I'm not a huge fan of the camaros, but this color is just amazing on that car! It looks fantastic!

There's only time for one or two more projects before the Christmas Holidays and then January is so busy with,

  • Filming TV Show
  • Mobile Tech Expo
  • Detailing Bootcamp

That there won't be time for any Autogeek's Car of the Week projects till sometime in February...
