2011 Chrysler 300C- After Dealer Detail

Ya, the guy wanted to "go grab his buffer real quick and throw it on there." LOL

Last time they tried buffing some scratches out that they put on there, they ended up repainting my trunk and roof.

This was actually my first car I have done. I was very nervous, as it wasn't some cheap dd I could just practice on. But, good thing I catch on quick!

Some of those pictures look like someone went against the grain of the paint with a rotary buffer with terrible technique. General rule of thumb is to never let a dealer touch your car. They do so many cars that they don't really car about how it turns out. Independent detailers who take pride in their work are your best bet if you don't want to do it yourself.

This was just from them washing it. They repainted the door because the clear coat was peeling from a corner. The didn't touch the car with a buffer this go-round.

Holy crap how does one do that much damage just by washing the car. That's insane. I have only seen damage like that from the scenario I explained. That is incredible.

Well, I guess I gotta give them something. If they are going to screw something up, they do it right for sure!

I have to agree with the dealership, those pesky black cars just go and swirl themselves up all the time! ;)

Great save!
