2011 Detail Fest Thank you

Corey I really enjoyed meeting you and seeing your beautiful car in person.

Absolutely a good time, I enjoyed meeting the few I met and it was good to see some recent acquaintances again.

I agree there should have been a trophy for the Cee Dog. That was some of the best red I have seen.

Next year Corey.

I'll be back

Harleyguy I would like to thank you for the cookies you brought to me at Detail Fest this past weekend. Everybody at Autogeek knows I'm a cookie monster ;) I had a great time talking to you and Cee Dog and the rest of the awesome forum members that stopped by the booth to say hello. I had a blast this year at Detail Fest.

I've already blocked off some time for this next year so I WILL BE THERE!! :props:

To attend the classes online was really cool. Its the next best thing to actually being there.

Dave and Robert, your work on that truck was top notch and deserved a trophy no question!

Corey you are truly a gentleman and it is an honor to know you :dblthumb2:

For all you do for this forum, I give you a :dblthumb2::dblthumb2:

I thank you for your kind words and appreciate you critique :applause:

I had an awesome time at D-fest and give a big thanks to the whole Ag staff and of course MAX.
I had the opportunity to speak with some of the industries best mfg's and test some new product that I've been wanting to try

The meet and greet was awesome as was hangin with Detail Dave, Adam, Corey, Richard and Virginia. I know I missed a few

I would also like to give a big thanks to Mike P and Dave from Meguires for the many referrals, you guys are awesome

In my book you all won the "Best Of Show" trophy

Adam it was once again great to see you and the cookies were delicious. Wish we had more time to talk, but glad to see you took home some goodies and trophy. After a bit of rest for the feet, it will be time to look to Detailfest 7 in 2012.

Thanks to everyone that has posted on this thread so far . It was too bad so many forum members didn't have some sort if name tag . Hopefully next year AG will have some sort of pre made name tag like the ones the AG staff were wearing . I also spoke briefly with Megan about what is needed to run a true car show . I plan on staying in contact with Megan so we can further discuss the pros and cons of a car show . More then likely at some point Megan will drive down south to my area and I can take her to a local car show . The two days that we spent at Detail Fest has to be the fastest weekend that goes by the whole year . Once again it was a great weekend .

I had a great time as well. I met a lot of new friends and it was great to meet a lot of you in person. It was especially informative -both from vendors and information gained from being around some of the best in the industry.

Special thanks to Max, Mike P., Meghan, Dwayne, Nick, and the rest of the Autogeek crew for investing the time and resources to put on such a great event for us! Their customer service is top-rate and unmatched.

You guys all rock, I am so proud to say we have the best crew of forum members aka Our Friends!! This weekend was an absolute blast! I feel like someone ran me over today but I am sure by tomorrow I will be full steam ahead again!
Adam looking forward to a car show with you!
Thank you all for coming out, this show gets better every year! Im the MAN

After spending a weekend out in the sun like we did it really kicks your butt . Glad the weather was awesome for everyone that flew in for the weekend . Rumor has it that Max paid off the weather Gods not to rain on his parade and it sure worked .

Meghan,

I was really looking forward to the event, but honestly it exceeded my expectations. The main reason was simply that everyone in attendance and the Autogeek employees are incredible people.
I really appreciate the effort and time that were necessary to make this as amazing as it was.

My only disappointment is that I was not able to get a Detail Fest t-shirt as they were pretty much sold out by Saturday morning.

Looking forward to next years show already!

We have some more shirts now, they were in hot demand, so I will have them for sale on the site by tomorrow. Was a pleasure to meet you!

Awesome Meghan, and it was a pleasure to meet you too!

BTW ... Max took care of me on the WG banner. Much thanks-
:awesome:

The only problem is I spent too much money, but I had to have the Master Blaster after the demo ......

Out of the 4 DF's I've attended, this one was the best! Great people, great vendors and a sweet variety of cars. I gotta echo the comments made about CeeDog's car.....it was by far the cleanest, 100% swirl free vehicle at the show. By a mile! The kid has major OCD issues and it clearly shows that he took it out on his car!!!

A special thanks to Barry Theal, Pat 300ZX, Bob @ AutoConcierge, Richie Carbone, rfinkle & Adam for the great time.

Nice connecting with Dr. G, Jason/Dwayne/Mike(AG), Steve/Pockets(Poorboys), Claude(Leather Masters), Mike(Einzette), Jason Killmer(Griots), Sam/David/Rick (4Star), Eric(Lake Country), Jason/Dave(Meguiars), Dennis(3M), Garry Dean, Corey, Joe F & Bunky.

Can't wait for next year!!!!!

Likewise, David, it was nice to finally meet you in person. I had a great time at DF.

I have to echo everyone's reply's to this thread. The people were amazing, sitting around the "camp fire" was great fun. I didn't know any of the people personally but I did from pictures I have seen on the forum. This was my first time at Detail Fest and I don't want it to be my last.

Max and everyone at Autogeek did an amazing job, the classes were great and I learned a lot out of them.

I think the nametag idea is good, forum name to put a face with the person.

Great time amazing cars and trucks, see you all next year!!

You guys did a great job with DF. This was my first year and I definitely plan on going back again. It was great to meet all the AG staff and Meghan thanks for taking the time on Sunday to give me a quick tour of AG and for shipping my raffle winnings back to me. It was much appreciated as I know you were wicked busy!

Not only was it a great time at the show but as Porsche Pilot said being able to sit around a fire with Renny, Joe, Jim, and all the rest was really something special. It was nice to be able to meet up with the seasoned business owners and talk shop. Plus it was great to meet some of the other members on the forum. I apologize for anyone I didn't get to meet. Just seems as though there were so many people!

Thanks again to everyone that was there and to the AG staff!
