Okay so I've been trying to buff my car for about a year now and just have never been able to actually do it. Throughout that year ive accumulated ALOT of detailing supplies and they have never looked as good as they should mainly because of my cars paint. Well I decided to take some vacation time this past week and I was finally able to buff my car!

Here is a list of products used:
2BM
Dawn Soap
Natural Sea Sponge
Griots Speed Shine (used as clay lube)
Griots Detailing Clay
M105
M205
CarPro Eraser
Wolf's Chemicals Hard Body

Onto the process and pictures!

Here are some before pictures of my car, the color doesnt show the swirls very well but they are there!

Okay so I finally finish applying the Hard Body and leave my grandma's house (using her carport) and head home and it starts pouring out of no where. Im pissed because I'm figuring I'm going to have the road grime all over the sides of my car. So I finally get home an I'm preparing for the worst when I get out but my car looks just as clean as when I left my Grandma's!!

I'm looking forward to writing a review on Hard Body and the Griots Clay and Speed Shine!

Thanks for looking at my post and also a big thanks to everyone who has posted valuable information, I wouldn't have been able to complete this without yall.

Chris.

Looks great!
Really like the coupe style.
Thanks for posting the pics.

Great work! I'm always amazed at how my car still looks clean, even when I know it's dirty, like yours after the rain shower.

Thanks for taking the time to post your results :xyxthumbs:

Can't even tell a difference, must've driven fast enough to get the water to fly off:dblthumb2:

One thing I noticed when it had just started to rain the drops wouldnt stay on the paint. They would like bounce off and onto the windshield

Chris.
I own a Nissan and I'm always interested in what combination of polish and pads were used to get such great results. Could you share the details?

Thanks.

Keep up the good work. People don't realize what it takes to maintain that appearance. Anything less looks bad to us Geeks.
