Porsche being one of my favorite car companies in world. The Porsche GT3RS was great to see so early in the year.

It only had 35miles on it so...

Im totally open for ANY SUGGESTIONS on a different or BETTER sealant.

Ive heard good things about the brand Opti-seal. I got to sample some of there products at AG's Detail fest. Good stuff, i may give it a try!

thanks :buffing:

Damn, that looks good. Just keep the car and give him the zaino!

Awesome looking car. I am not a real big fan of Zaino products but a lot of people seem to love them. For a sealant, try WolfGangs Deep Gloss Sealant topped with a nice wax.

It's like a re-occurring dream to have someone bring me a nice car, in nice shape that doesn't need any correction work at all, just a coat of wax.

Lucky guy...

Don't care for the graphics on the paint and it would be a lot racier if the color was black but still a very cool looking Porsche...

Sal's Z2 Pro is a good product, since my involvement with Dave Ghodoussi from Optimum I've been using his Spray Wax more and used his Opti-Seal yesterday and so far I'm impressed with David's ability as a chemist.

I've used our new Poli-Coat on 2-3 vehicles and found it to be a good sealant too... I've also used the Mother's Synwax a few times recently and it too has delivered very good results.

The key thing besides sealing up the paint will be how the owner takes care of it afterwards...

EVERYONE on this forum and all the detailing discussion forums are always so surprised every time someone posts a picture of a Super Car, or some Exotic like this Porsche, only to show how completely hacked-up and swirled-out the finish is and then we all wonder... how does the paint get that way?

It all comes down to...

"How the paint is touched"

So besides your stellar work in sealing up the paint, how is the owner going to "touch" the paint afterwards?

:)

I totally agree Mike! Fortunately this owner uses Di-inozed water to wash it BUT when i see the car again, im sure it will have a few TOUCH marks on that will have to be corrected. LOL. The owner races open road races a few times a year. So a little damage wont be a surprise.

Cannot believe you had the pleasure of being able to work on this masterpiece. I am so envious right now. I was in Germany taking an M3 CSL on the Nurburgring last summer. If I was able to take this, I'd die a happy man.

On a side note, i would love to see some WG Deep Gloss Paint Sealant and a coat of Fuzion on that beast and call it a day (after a few laps).

John, if you are a Porsche guy like me, I've loved these cars since child hood. Taking a BMW CSL on Nurburgring as to be a blast as well! Thats an awesome track!!

Thanks for the reference on the paint seal. I will order some up and give it a try. :)

   I need new underwear and pants. What a sexy car.

OMG...don't mind him ladies and gentleman, he hasn't had his meds yet today....I hope.

And make a signature that has your name in it Jonathan. lol I want people to know you're the one helping with all of the recent details I'm posting...

Steven
I have the same car, in white. I will be sealing it with Wolfgang sealent and topping that with Fuzion next weekend. Both by hand. I was wondering what you did with the decals. Should I seal and wax them or work around them?
Thanks in advance, Rich

Rich,

They look sweet in white!

I just worked around the small lettering on the decals, then on the big stripes i applied a thin coat of sealant.

enjoy!
