High performance "Momobile", this vehicle is a few months old but was in need of serious cleaning and paint corrective steps to clear up factory defects along with issues missed in the new car delivery.
At first the job was to be a 80% correction with a interior cleaning, however the client who I have done his 997 Turbo authorized a full correction as I assured him if the car was brought back with timely intervals the vehicle could stay like this always.
As the vehicle came in.

Embedded contaminates in the factory emblems which would require steaming to correct later in the job.

Deep marring in the finish.

Corrected.

Rare for Porsche sand scratches in the finish near the mirror support, usually only encounter sand scratches on 997 Turbo/GT3RS rear and front bumpers.

Corrected.

Hard to capture the defects on the white finish in pictures, this was one of the better shots.

The black trim and "B" pillars needed attention.

In pictures the camera may not pick up the marring on the white finish.....the tailights tell the real story.

Sticky tar and road film required aggressive measures.

After the paint correction was accomplished I turned my attention to the interior.

Dead pedal area carpet was slightly dirty....steamcleaning fixed the area.

Finished interior pics, the 2011 Cayenne is a improvement that was evident right away in the fit and finish department.

WOW how can someone let a brand new car get so filthy!!!

I love LOVVVEEE the interior of the new Cayennes, especially the cream interior of that one. I'm not however, a big fan of the outside styling.

Good thing the owner sent it to you to be restored! Nice turn around, it looks so nice now!

that's some beautiful work. What steamer do you use?

You did a great job :D

My god, what a hot mess. Mr. 997 turbo needs to have a long talk with Mrs. Cayenne turbo. Amazing turnaround. Well done!!

Bob, you are the Porsche master! Outstanding work as always!

BTW, I want that lift!

You & Marc need to pull the trigger..............lol, $2,450.00 or lease $115.00 a month from Snap on, has extended my career ........as I am oldness for this field(49 in October).

Bob, thanks for posting this job. That is a great idea for steaming the emblems. I will use that one myself, thanks. For me, posting jobs has always been about sharing. My personal opinion is that the process and products should be shared. That's how people learn, not just by seeing before and after pics. Why don't you share what you use and how? People are here to learn. I'm not trying to be critical, but rather just trying to further the education of everyone. Once again, great job on the Porsche!

Richy,

I know you have must to have read my reason for this on the "Bliss" as I have covered it many times.

I was being attacked by Andy aka "Got Wax" aka Mr Pantsareoff......and he had a crew with him(One detailer who worked with with me two months in my city who I dismissed due to shenanigans). I was not about to help them the same people coming after my business to cause me problems with step by step tutorials on "How to do it".

When I started my service in 94, there was no "Autogeek/bliss/TID/Autopia etc.. you had to learn by doing and trial and error, also I went to SEMA and paid attention to paint developments and other products to learn what was new. The forums can be great but some guys get lazy and do not do anything on thier own when in actuality if "Search" is used almost all the info is there.

The write ups are "Show n shine" not "Show n tell" my competition how to beat me at my own game, the aforementioned "Andy" even moved to another city and called his service "Auto Concierge" so I feel I am justified in my mindset.

I help quite a few guys when they call or PM on the boards out of site, as opposed to "Look I am a guru and am helping everyone", there is nothing wrong with tips and Mike Phillips has a plethora of info that just takes some effort to get, as anything worth a poop takes time/effort/sweat equity.

Richy hopefully you see I am not "Ego driven" as my rep seems to be, but just protecting my business which I have worked very hard on for now going on 18 years as I am"Fulltime" with my biz and pay my bills with the income gleaned daily.

Bob, no, I was not aware of what you went through. And, yes, given your circumstances I understand why you post how you do. We all may have our favourite products, but as you know, there is more than one system to get the same results. I have always been very open with my products and procedures hoping to help people but I see your point. If you are helping people that PM you then that is great. After all, the forums are a place to help people grow their ability and gain confidence. Thanks for taking the time to clarify that.
