hello guys.. been pretty busy lately.. thank god. and today i did a nice red mustang gt. i'm into production detailing but that doesnt mean i rush my jobs or skimp out on quality products.

today for example i did this mustang in 1.5 hours and got quality results using a simple process.

i must add that as of lately, i dont really like to use paste waxes . unless im getting paid really good or the car is going to a show and needs showcar prep thats the only way ill use it. i think its too much time consuming and for my clients that live in miami florida... it doesnt provide the long lasting protection. this sun eats up that wax in no time.

thats why im a big fan of car pro hydro2. very easy to use, and the "wow" factor is always there. no matter what paint color.

the process i used like i mentioned was simple. the interior wasnt a problem. he just wanted it vacuumed and simple wipedown. he stressed that he didnt wanted harsh chemicals inside. so off i went and cranked up the vacuum, and did a simple wipedown using onr.

the wheels were caked up with layers upon layers of break dust.

as you can see here.

i used my electric pw to knock off must of the brake dust. sprayed the rims and tires using 3D Tire & Rim Cleaner - Yellow Degreaser.. this stuff is great and its safe on all rim finishes plus you can use it on the tire aswell. i used a boar's hair brush to aggitate the brake dust and sprayed it off with another blast with my pw.

i had a very clean rim and tire using this technique, but i had upsold to iron x. i suggested to the customer and told him that those rims would really benefit from it. he said yes.. so he got iron x on all the rims and tires.

here's a pic of the rim bleeding.

i was satisfied with those results. so i moved on to the exterior. again, knocking off must of the dirt with my pw i rinsed the whole car. filled up my two buckets, one for rinse and one for onr.. threw in my Microfiber Chenille Wash Mitt and my Speedy Surface Prep Mitt - Medium Grade in the wash solution bucket.

panel by panel, i used the mf chenille to wash, dry with waffle weave mf towel soaked the prep mitt and i followed by Speedy Surface Prep Mitt .. washing and claying at the same time.

so once i was done washing, i was done claying too. i did the whole car this way..

soaked the car with water again so i can apply hydro 2.
panel by panel, spraying hydro2, blasting it off with my pw. did this for the whole car. i used my electric leaf blower to dry it off completely. and to add that finishing touches, i used a mf towel and sprayed megs synthetic spray wax. to fully dry and at the same time adding more shine.

this is how the car came in

and these were my results.

sadly it started to rain right after.. but the customer was very happy. took the car straight to his garage.

i cant stress how important it is to be saleman in this business. this customer only wanted a wash and wax.
i upsold to a wash, sealant and wax, plus iron x. :props:

Great job Josue and quick too! :dblthumb2:

Looks great bro! Good job on the sale :D

How long did the job take?

hello frank! hope all is well.. hydro2 made the process fast. i remember that robert diterlizzi was the first one to suggest hydro2 to me.. and he told me how great and fast this thing was to apply. tried it and never looked back.props to robert.
by the way frank, have you tried hydro2??

thanks my dude, you have to suggest things to the customers.. remember, you are the pro and if they are smart enough they will listen to you.

i tried to upsell for atleast a aio polish step always. the worst they can say is no. :buffing:

the car was dropped of at 10 am, he picked up and left my house at 12. i say 1.5- 2 hours the most.

I offer complimentary weather forecasts with all my details! lol I love hydro2

Looking good! In another thread, a member was called out for photoshopped images, and these look "strange" to me, almost HDR like. Especially the last one.

Just thought fair is fair. Any chance you could share an unedited image? Either way, Stang looks great#

I have, I learned about it from Robert also, great stuff!

Good choice with the ONR on the interior. I like how it leaves a clean OEM finish and removes oils easily. Looks great!

thanks will. yes, the onr is great for interior and it was exactly what this particular client wanted..no harsh chemicals.

Thank you, sir. It looks amazing!

thanks stagnfan, sorry if i misled you or anyone with the edited hdr photos.

Great work, you did what I'd call 'quality production work'. Sure it's possible!

Thanks for sharing.

Best Wishes.

Turned out looking great. I still haven't tried hydr02. Seems a bit expensive.

This makes me :) since my hydro2 is showing up tomorrow with some other goodies!!

hydro2 was my 2013 product of the year. You simply cannot find an easier to apply, great looking sealant on the market today...and BTW, it easily lasts up to three months or more depending on conditions. Its easier to apply than detail spray...but yeah I know...unless some of you don't spend hour after hour working your body into a limp noodle...doing something you could easily do in an hour...you can't justify your spending habit.

Knock yourselves out..or get some hydro2.

Uhh something else I have to add to my order lol. The mustang looks great thanks for sharing.

if youre doing this as a business.. you will double and triple your money depending on how you sell hydro2. plus, you dillute it 3:1 ratio.

great choice! hydro2 will not dissapoint. will it be your first time applying it? if so, spray it and rinse it off one panel at a time.. i cant stress that enought.
