Hey AutoGeek community, Brett here with Luxury Mobile Auto Detailing. Posting a simple clean up on my client's sonic blue 2011 Mazda Speed3 w/technology package. He is the founder of Mazda Movement here in Orlando, FL and is a rising star in the social media/internet world using his passion for Mazdas to build a bigger career. He is also affiliated with SURE Motorsports. Really like his car's look and color. Stephan and I did this job together.

Our Process:

How's that Meg's water based dressing hold up on tires? Great job BTW!

Ha probably not the BEST way to leave it at "properly" with no explanation..
I just meant having a clean tire surface (i.e. throrough scrubbing with some type of degreaser and tool) during the wash phase, making sure the tires are completely dry before application, applying multiple even coats (if longevity is the goal).
I usually move the vehicle also just a little bit forward or backward to rotate the wheels 180 degrees, to make sure the sidewall of the tires that were just touching the ground gets dressing applied to it. And finally allowing the dressing to set for a little while before driving anywhere.
