Logged some hours on this one. Coated paint, wheels, glass. Also had to wet sand several large scratches off the trunk lid and filled 20-25 paint chips with Dr Colorchip. Not much for taking pictures the paint on this car was incredible. Rock hard but beautiful.

Used my PE14 with lambs wool and 3D Cut+ 4" and 6" pads, followed that with my G21 with white fast cutting pad and FCC, it was really LSC ready at that point but I went over it with my XFE 7 and my Flex mini. The wheels were cleaned with McKee's wheel cleaner, which removed six years of filth beautifully. Used 3M adhesive remover for all the tape weight residue, and there was a lot. Topped with a secret sauce

Thank you. Really enjoyed working on this car. The hood shot was before coating. The side shots after, the car will definitely gain a lot of gloss over the next couple days. I don't know if you mean the wheel looks great or the fact that it's on the cement Sam, believe me I would never let a wheel touch concrete, there was plenty of sidewall sticking out past the wheel.

Ive got same car getting dropped off tomorrow. I have 2 wool pads, flex and FG400. Hope its enough for that paint. I did one other Audi and the paint was like concrete. I did have wool pads at that time.

Thank you. Is the one you're doing Emerald Black Pearl too?? I've never had to hit paint that hard with wool and a rotary before. Flex 3401 or PE14?
 
It is a dark blue metallic, not sure what year. I have the 3401

I never used wool on a 3401. I'm sure you'll be able to get it done, just not sure how many passes it will take. I had purchased some of the real short wool pads to try on my 3401. I ended up getting rid of the machine so I gave the pads away. I asked for feedback from the individual I gave them to. Unfortunately like most other things I have given away I never heard anything back. Sounds like a fairly similar color. Please post some pictures when you get done.
 
I had time to compound and polish half the car today, after wash and decon. The wool pad, 3401 and FG400 was a monster!. Absolutely destroyed the defects on the Audi. The car is a 2014 and color is called blue crystal. Coating will be delivered by 8pm tomorrow so I should be ready to go. Spring break this week,get this done and will be on the harley the rest of the week, weather permitting
