2012 Audi S4 ~ HD ADAPT ~ Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant
The paint was already in very good condition. Very few defects. My polish consisted of two light passes with brand new tangerine pads.
The wheels had a lot of brake dust and contamination. After I thoroughly cleaned them with the Speedmaster brush and high concentration of 3D APC I hit them with more APC and let them soak, then used a dedicated soap bucket and hit them again with the Speedmaster.
I then hit them with some Tarminator. Dwell. Hit with speedmaster again.
Some tar or other contamination was stuck to the wheel pretty good in places. I used the awesome Tuf Shine brush on the wheels and it helped some. Still unsatisfied I hit them with Sonax Full Effect. After dwelling a good while it seemed there wasn’t a lot of contamination as I thought. Still more green than purple.
After I hit the paint with Iron X I decided to see what effect it would have on the wheel after all that cleaning. I was surprised Iron X had such a color change after using Sonax!
It was nice and cloudy through most of the polish. However the sun popped out when I was about done. ADAPT works well in the sun just as HD CUT does. I applied the Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant in his garage with a LC Red CSS pad.
Gave the exhaust tips a quick polish, applied 845 to wheels, PEARL to trim and Opti-Bond to tires as the sealant dried. About 50min later I wiped it off with purple plush towels and WGDGPS 3.0 did not disappoint.
Initially, this was to be an exterior only job. But I made him an offer he couldn’t refuse and did an interior vacuum, light cleaning and applied PEARL to dash and Wolfgang Leather Conditioner to the great looking seats.
He told me many times how he appreciated me and was thrilled with the results then gave a nice tip. He bought it CPO last year. He told me that he got the $900 “protection” package from the dealership and my detail was better. Got the business from a friend sharing one of my other details on Facebook. Here is the review he was kind enough to give me. Oh, total time on project was 11hrs.

I think I’m going to get a pressure washer primarily to help with wheels\tires.
