Thank you very much. I always tell people that my goal is "the car looks as good, if not better, than the day it was delivered brand new". The silver 3 series belongs to her brother. It would be hard not to be jealous seeing the mile-deep reflection. Silver is a much lower maintenance colour, so I guess it comes down to priorities. <shrug>WOW!! Richy, you need to send the 11th 'after' pic to BMW. If that isn't a perfect brochure picture, I don't know what is!!
Very well done! I bet she didn't look that nice leaving the showroom.
1st sister isn't jealous, is she??
Just by the compounding and polishing steps. It sure helped to have a bright, sunny day to capture the glow, or otherwise it would not have looked as good. In fact, if you look at the sister car in silver that I referenced at the beginning of the thread, you can see it was quite overcast that day. In person, the silver glowed although it was hard to capture that with the camera. The owner said it looked like liquid silver!I meant how did you get so much shine out of the car
Richy - I've enjoyed reading your write-ups and the photos of your results are absolutely stunning. Hopefully it is not in poor taste, but could you help me (kind of a product newbie) with a few of your abbreviations? Specifically, B/S pads=?, and UWW=?
Also, after the Opti Coat what is your experience with follow-up and maintenance? Do you just wash or do you re-polish (if needed) and seal/wax? I guess I just don't know enough about those products. Sorry for the ignorance and hopefully you do not find it in poor taste to ask. Nothing but high praises for your work and write ups.
Great work as always Richy!!
On another subject...you've used Aquapel haven't you?
Thank you! Yes, I have. I even shot a video of it after using it last year. I love it. I just recently tried it on my shower doors too, lol.
Here's the vid:
