2012 Boss 302 Laguna Seca by Advanced Detailing of South Florida

[Advanced Detailing]

This Laguna Seca belongs to a new client of mine, a 72 year old gentleman who also owns a 09 Corvette CRS, 1 of 20 made that year.
He DOES take them both to the track.
I was first approached by his wife to do her white mercedes.
She saw me working in their neighborhood where i do the 458 Italia, 430 , the white Panamera etc.
This is a neighborhood with numerous"detailers" , nothing but luxury and exotics there, but you'd be amazed at some of the work done to these cars.
But, like most owners of these cars down here, they just don't care.
This owner told me after i asked how he found me, besides his wife approaching me, he said by observing me over time he could see that i was doing the work with passion that he didn't see in other people working around him.
Anyway, the Vette is supposed to be done in the future also, can't wait for that.

The new Mustangs are an unbelievable feat of Engineering. The BOSS 302's are a kick-ass performance car that can hold its own against just about anything it comes up against.

The before and after photos clearly show both skill and passion. I'll bet that young fella was pretty pleased when he picked it up....rops:

Thanks guys, yes this is an incredible car and the owner told me he has owned everything from 911 turbo, GT2, GT3 etc and nothing does it for him like the american muscle he now owns.
I started once again with the Meg's MF compound, followed by Menz106 and i don't remember what LSP i used.
the reason i don't get into all products used etc., i think many newbies get caught up in all the latest hype and get confused on what to use .
For instance, with all the talk of the best machinery, the debates between Flex and the XP or meg or whatever.....i still use my 12 year old, to me, 7336. That's right, rebuilt just recently after more than a decade of almost daily use.

Car looks amazing. Ford did it right when they built the Boss. With your amazing detail it really shows the curves of the car.

Anyone I know that has a Boss 302 loves it! How Ford makes that thing handle with the best of them without IRS is amazing.

I describe driving exotics as being at a symphony in Carnegie Hall, driving my GT500 is like being at a speed/death metal concert at Roseland Ballroom.

Great job car looks awesome. I did a black 11 GT500 with Meg's MF and compound and 105 and it came out beautiful too.

Nice work!!!! I still have my 7336 I bought from Griots back in 2002. :dblthumb2:

When you guys (inyadreems & Advanced Detailing) say you're using the Meguiar's MF compound, can I assume you mean you are using it with MF pads, too? And I understand your concern for newbie hype, but I'm just trying to understand some of the techniques.

HotRod, yes the pads also. I have switched to the Optimum pads because to me they are so much more durable.
