Nice job. I just did my black lexus last week. looks amazing. I just gave her her first bath since coating.I could not believe how the water just blew right off when i blew dried it.
I always blow off the water before drying with towel and never seen water come off this easy.
It is my first time using something like this, I would be really amazed if it lasts half the time they say it does.
Quality work is the best form of advertizing and this is Magnificent!! :dblthumb2:
The dealer was probably using a glaze or product with fillers thus the reason the finish looked like crap in a couple of weeks....
Hey Just
Have you used CQUK before? I'm looking to coat roof on my vehicle and possibly my whole other vehicle. I think its between CQUK and CQuartz.
In your experience, how has the longevity of CQUK been? Have you found it to "darken" the paint color? I know CQuartz claims to last 2 years. Have you used both CQuartz and CQUK? If so, how do they compare against each other?
I really appreciate it! :xyxthumbs:
Thank you very much man! Based off of feedback, it sounds like CQUK is the way to go.I've used both CQ and CQUK and I find that I like CQUK better. It flashes a little bit quicker and is supposed to be more resistant to colder climates with snow and salt. Both are claimed to last for up to 2 years. As far as darkening paint, I find it most noticeable on dark blues, red, and black paints and the results are stunning! I just got into coatings at the end of last year so I cannot comment on longevity just yet.
