So I'm thinking of ordering a 2012 Challenger. I have negotiated a price with the

dealership and just need to pull the trigger. I have to admit that it would definitely tighten

up my budget but I could manage. With my boys all away in college I feel it's finally time

for my toy. Why am I so on the fence with this??? We all know what kind of joy this could

deliver.Feed back please

I bought a new 2011 on my 58 birthday. I had a 68 SS and waited 43 years to go full circle. It's a joy every time I strap myself in. Was then, is now. Go for it. You only live once my friend.

You've earned it. Like my wife says when I want to buy toys, " If we can still live in this house, go on vacation, get the kids through school, then go for it"
I love her

Do it!!! Get it. I bought a car back in December and I was really worried about my budget. But you know what...you live once...GO FOR IT.

I love the retro cars...I say, go for it - you could die tomorrow...

This is GREAT philosophy, we also live by it in our home :props:

Thanks for the replies. lol I knew I asked the question on the right forum. Pics to come in early spring!

Which model? My advice is if things are too tight to get the hemi (6.1L/6.4L or the 5.7L) then you should wait until you can go for one of those... Anyone I know that has gotten the lower models of the LX/LY platform (300, Charger, Magnum, Chally) always regret not waiting and getting the more powerful/nicer version... Just my .02

Looks like one you'll like, Billet metallic with black stripes. Can you recommend a good nube for silver?

Yes, Dodo Juice Light Fantastic...

Honestly, I have put a few different waxes on my ride, even Fuzion. I still love the Dodo Juice on my Silver Metallic

I couldn't agree more. You've waited this long. Make sure you get something you are going to enjoy.

You earned it:props: I got my 2010 Camaro SS the day before my 49th birthday. My only regret is getting black for a daily driver. Other than that, I've been thrilled.

I would go for it. The Dodge Challenger is beautiful. I would love to have the new 392 Hemi. I would have jumped on a Challenger but it was out of my price range. I just purchased a 2011 Dodge Ram Express and couldn't be happier since it has a 5.7L Hemi with 390hp stock.

Thank you for your .02. Yes, I will be getting it the way I want it. I am getting the hemi 5.7 dropped in the Rt plus model with some extras added. I still might bump up to the classic if the price is right. Still working on that.

Can't wait to see some pictures of the new beast when you get it. Good luck!

I bought my 2010 Shelby GT500 on my 34th B-day. I say go for it and like others don't skimp on the model otherwise the first car meet or show you got to you will regret it.
