Went to the auto show Friday night and took some pictures. Wasn't too crowded since it was Friday night, and the weather scared some people away too probably. Sorry, I'm a bit partial to Ford.:D

I went Saturday. Ford put the 13 gt 500 on the dyno and it was CRAZY. hit 140 in 4th gear!!!

The road tracks were cool. The SRT lines looked awesome, new 3 series from BMW very clean, Cadillac had a great display. But Ford took the cake with the dyno setup.

I personally feel like Ford had the best display this year. Every other one just seemed really open and vacant I guess.

Did they actually put the 2013 GT500 up on there or was it still the 2012?
 
Oh the back end of the red Lexus in Chris's pictures is my favorite. Tri-exhaust output looks like a rocket. Very appealing. Mustang gt 500 may be best car built (performance) in mustang line.

Correction the 12. Insane. Comes out mid summer. Had a professional driver from Miller Racing dyno it.
 
Great pictures!

I decided to go next Sunday. I went on the first Saturday last year... That was a mistake.

Thanks for posting Chris. The new Fusion grille reminds me of an Aston Martin.

What was the admission this year?
 
I went today (Sunday) and was on the side when they dyno'd the Mustang, you could feel the power 20 feet away. The young lady they had sitting next to the gentleman from Miller Racing was just shaking. Nice pic's, I too thought the Ford display was the best of them all. The 53 vette was pretty awesome also, though I couldn't see any door handles on the outside or inside, how'd you get in it, by jumping in over the doors?:dblthumb2:
 
I went the first public day on Fri with my Dad but did not get to see it all. Going back this fri and staying the night :xyxthumbs: I will be wondering the floor all day :props:. Im a die hard blue oval guy so thats one my best areas and the 13 Shelby has my interest.
 
Really nice pics!! Theres an auto show coming to pgh this weekend, think I'm going on friday night or maybe sunday…

I thought they mentioned it was the 2013, but I guess it was the 12, but mentioned the 13 comes out mid summer. Either way, they put surround sound on the output so you felt the roar from every angle. Loved it.

Right 11 got you in the door. I parked on a street 5 blocks away for free.

Did anyone see the (helpers) with swiffers and towels wiping prints????

I only saw one team of professional detailers, they were in the Hyundai area.

You guys are correct the 13 Shelby was the deep impact blue vert and the other was the grabber blue that you could sit in, the one on the dyno was a 12 rated at 550hp.

Dont remem wich one I looked in but the leather on the seat from everyone getting in to it looked so bad, was cracking, the cusion on the bolster was allready smashed down.

I never seen the pro detailers but the auto show people were everywhere even in with the Aston Martins and such.

I always park in Soldier Field parking lot, price went up a bit this year and was at $22 but I think well worth it just a short walk out side then you are inside the rest of the way.
