Thanks guys! When the lady saw it, she gasped and said "It's a new car!!" Lol

^ you bet. Most of the dealers "detail" jobs involve a bristle brush auto car wash, a vacuum and tire dressing. Lol

The dealer wanted to detail mine when I bought it, and was surprised when I declined! I had to take it back a couple days later and after service I saw it headed for the scratch and wash. I ran and stopped them and the service guy didn't know what to do.

Gotta love the complimentary car wash that comes with a free clearcoat scratch! I took my car in, the dealer asked me "you don't want us to wash it, do you?"! Lol

I saw one of the guys at the VW dealership the a bought my parents car from washing out his shammy by laying it on the floor, putting a foot on one end and pointing the pressure washer at it. Needless to say, they've never been called on to wash their car when it goes in for a service.

I don't know whats worse the dealers or the guys on the corner with news paper and the gas station squeegee. They see the car is clean, but yet feel the need to do something to it.
