A buddy of mine called me up to take care of his new, but used, and heavily neglected C300. Swirls where the name of the game, ended up doing a 2 step exterior with some mild interior cleaning. Never had so much trouble buffing a car before. This was the ceramic clear coat and the microfiber cutting pads that I ordered specifically for these types of jobs did little with the D300. Had to pair with m105 for more dramatic results. Thinking about doing a 600 grit rubbing compound next time, what do you guys say? Any tips for other ceramic clear correction?

Had the car over night, about 12 hours since the interior was clean to begin with, had time to focus on paint. After pics don't really show the degree of correction cause the sun wasn't shining but it was something like 85-90%.

Service: 2 Step paint polish, mild interior cleaning

Excellent work on reviving that c300 I also like your plan of attack and car foaming shots

Very Nice! :dblthumb2: I too would like to know any tips about ceramic clear corrections.

Wow looks great !! I believe menzerna makes compounds and polishes for the ceramic clears.

Very nice work! Love seeing Black German beauties done right.

Pick up some Menzerna or Wolfgang polishes. Either one works well cutting Mercedes Ceramic Clear.
