Mike, congratulations on the award. I have only been a member of the forum for a short time, but I think I can speak for many members here that you are one of the major reasons that this forum is so successful.

Thank you everyone for all the kind words... I've pretty much poured my heart and soul into this industry all my life and I'm very grateful for the award as I am for the good fortune I've experienced both detailing cars and showing others how to detail cars.

The entire time at Mobil Tech Expo I was doing wetsanding and buffing demonstrations in our booth and didn't find out I won the award till the very end of the show on Saturday and it caught me completely off guard.


The week before we shot 11 of the 13 episodes for our new TV show, last week I prepped for my classes at Mobil Tech Expo and now this week I'm prepping for our Detailing Boot Camp Classes, two full days of hands-on training and then come back the next weekend and teach guys how to wetsand fresh paint and then use rotary buffers to buff out all the sanding marks... work is busy busy busy and I'm ever-thankful for my job.


So thank you to everyone that's chimed in, your comments are very much appreciated...

Mike, that's awesome man!! Congratulations! I'm sure you're like me though, I get immediate satisfaction out of helping people out on forums. You devote many hours on here to help people. Glad to see you got some recognition for all your efforts.:props:

Well..Mike..Glad to see that you took all my tips/pointers from the get-together we had down here in San Antonio and made something of yourself! I KNEW you had potential!
Just kidding...Great things happen to great people..Congrats and continue your love of the craft that you personally have made us ALL better at. We all have the utmost respect for you and your work.
 
Enjoy your award Mike ! Glad to see all of your hard work has paid off. I hope this is just the beginning and we will see more of your dreams come true.
