2012 Mustang!

"Mod bug" is what we say when we add a performance part to our cars and then a few months later, get the urge to add something else. I have a 2009 GT/CS and started w/a CAI, 93 tune, and Flows. Then came the 4.10 gears 6 months later. Got bored and the mod bug bit again. So I got the hot rod cams and Kooks Longtubes w/ catted h pipe. Check out the mustang forums. Good info there, like here. I stopped modding my car and now trying to learn all I can about using the 7424 PC. Fear if the unknown. Our cars do s*ck in the snow. Weight in the trunk is a definite!

Congratulations! :props:

The new Mustangs are absolutely gorgeous and there's little doubt you made the right decision!

Looking forward to seeing more great photos of this American Legend!! :dblthumb2:

Addiction to modding.

Congrats on the new ride! I'm planning on getting a new car in around April and the Mustang V6 with the manual transmission is one of my options. How is it to drive? Particularly the handling.

It drives VERY well. I can't stress enough how awesome this V6 is, especially with the sound you can get out of it after slapping on just some aftermarket axle-back mufflers.

ConsumerReports rates it one of the best affordable sports cars and I agree. If you are going for the base V6 with no premium package I'd recommend getting some aftermarket speakers though because the stock ones sound terrible, although I'm comparing to my Civic Si which had the premium speakers.

This is my first RWD and I have to say I am addicted! We'll see how much I like it in the NY snow though. Hahaha. My roommate has a Charger R/T and he's done fine for two winters with just all seasons on but I'm going to be grabbing a set of snows as I'm already used to driving FWD with snows on.

I can tell you that dedicated snow tires will make a huge difference. I have a set of 4 snow tires mounted on wheels that get rotated out when the weather begins to dip below 40 degrees. Last year I had no problem making my 60 mile daily round trip to work and back.

Nice car btw. :props:

One thing I'm really excited about is that I've been reading from others that the clearcoat on the new Mustangs is quite hard which means I don't need to worry about a feather landing on it and scratching it as was the case with my Honda!

And here she is all ready for the winter. Didn't bother claying since it's a new vehicle and the paint already felt quite smooth. Went with some CG EZ-Creme Glaze and a layer of BFWD. I went with the glaze since there are some small scratches here and there.

Nice.:xyxthumbs:

I love how those muscular hood lines reflect the building.

dont get excited..the ford black paint is soft as jello. Mine will scratch if you stare at it to long..look up some other member with a new black stang I seen them also say on how crazy soft it is. I have heard other colors are hard but the black isnt

That's strange because the base coat color shouldn't matter because it's all the same clearcoat. Either way I've already dealt with the soft black Honda paint so this can't be any worse.
