With the weather hitting the upper 40's yesterday, and low 50s today, I decided it was time to get my truck ready for winter. I didn't do any paint correction this time around, but will in spring. I didn't take any before or during pics, but it wasn't all that dirty.

Process:
Washed with Dawn through my Gilmour foam gun
Iron-X
Washed again
Clayed
Collinite 845 (x2)
Rain-X on all glass
ONR on door jambs.

Random after pics, taken with an older Nikon and my Iphone.

I'm looking forward to seeing how long 845 lasts. This was my first time using it on an entire vehicle. I have to say that it was very easy to use, and a lot goes a long way. :dblthumb2:

Thanks! While I like the way white looks after a detail, it's a pain to work with in my opinion. I probably just need better lighting.

845 is one of the best waxes on white imo

Expensive waxes are all hype imo

I sure like the way it looks on my paint! In a way I agree with you. I find that polishes, compounds, and other equipment is more worth the money. But as long as the user likes the product, then it's all good.

:xyxthumbs:I'm with you on 845, good stuff truck looks great.:xyxthumbs:

I used 845 on a white 15 passenger van.

It glows.

You know how hard it is to make a van glow?

Lol

Good stuff 845.

Only thing negative is that it does not sheet a lot of water. Only beads most all of it.

I used to used AutoGlym HD. That stuff sheets great...... but lasts a very short time.

You're right about it glowing. I noticed it today walking out of the grocery store. Mine seems to sheet just fine using the flood method with the hose. If I find otherwise, I'll report back.
