2012 Chevy SS Camaro 5th Gen
Silver Ice Metallic
32,280 miles

I had a new client drop off his daily driven Camaro. He purchased this car new and was one of the first 5th generation Camaro’s in town. He loves this car and is going to keep it and give it to his granddaughter when she is old enough to drive! How cool is that!

The paint was in very good condition although quite dirty. It had a few small swirls; scuffs, a couple minor scratches, and the biggest thing were some hard water spots.

Process/tools/equipment/products/etc:
3BW-Adam’s car shampoo

Micro-chenille wash mitts
Daytona speedmaster wheels brushes
Tuf Shine tire brush
Adam’s wheel cleaner
1Z APC for wheel wells
Adam’s tire and rubber cleaner
Hydro 2 for sealing the wheels
Hyde’s syrum-rotors
Kenotek vinyl/leather for tire dressing
Griots medium wash/clay mitt
Vehicle was dried with one PFM towel
Glass-SCG Pro cleaner and sealant
Interior-McKee’s 37 fast interior detailer
Vacuumed via Metro
Engine-Blackfire AIO trim/tire
Exhaust-Pinnacle exhaust cleaner/brightner
Rupes MkII 21
White finishing pads
Menz SF4000
Misc MF towels
LSP-Adam’s ceramic paint coating

This nice 5th Gen really turned out well! Client is super happy to have multiple years of protection on the surfaces and will be encouraged to continue with his outstanding wash routines that have been going on for the past 5 years! (the car was really in good shape- thanks to his good wash/dry technique!)

Thank you, enjoy the pictures and as always, comments are welcomed!

Hey sizzle have you thought about changing out the bulbs to more of a white color output? Nice work on the engine bay

I dont mean to be a jerk here but insurance for her will be very high. Its a v8 sports car for a new driver. Oddly I read too that men get charged even more for insurance based on their driving records history. Great job with the detail though

Thanks everyone!

Limny: shoot me a PM with what you are thinking please! I'm always open to new ideas!

You have real skills! What did you use on the floor mats
they look like they are brand new?

Thanks everyone!

Scott, I was looking through the pictures and comparing the indoor lighting and outdoor lighting of the pictures. I know its impossible to replicate the sun, but just wondered if you switched out to maybe 5000k temp bulbs the indoor pictures might help portray your work better vs the current bulbs you have that's all.

Thanks for the responses everyone!

Thank you! I sprayed them with 1Z APC, agitated with a brush and rinsed off. Done!

OK, cool. I'm running 4K T5 HO bulbs now. You are going to cost me some money! Now I've got to see if I can find some in the 4.8-5K range and see what they look like! I appreciate you saying something! Thank you!
