Last weekend my wife and I detailed her 2013 "Modern Steel Metallic" Honda Accord Sport. She tackled the interior while I gave the outside some much needed love.

Process for exterior:

Sorry no before pictures! There were no swirls in the paint (kind of a pre-requisite if you want to work here), just a year's worth of embedded dirt and road film from lack of washing in about 2 months. It was cloudy all day Saturday so we detailed the car outside where there was a breeze.

This was my first time using Souveran Paste Wax in conjunction with Uber All In One...I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Overall the car turned out great. This paint has a A LOT of metallic flake and Wolfgang Uber AIO did an outstanding job making it "pop." Applying a quick coat of Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax increased the depth and really made the paint glow.

I plan on giving it a waterless wash on Thursday before we hit the road for Thanksgiving dinner. I'll bring my Nikon to get some higher res photos (pics above were taken using iPhone).

I'll be sure to snap some beading shots next time it rains. ;)

looks like a honda family here, looks great & nice color...

Nick work Nick!

WG AIO and Pinnacle Souveran sounds like a good combo.

Great work Nick! I used the AIO on the goat before cars and coffee and topped it with Synergy. Very impressed with the Wolfgang AIO, especially on my wife's truck.

Nice work. And kudos to you for getting the wife to help out.

Nice job Nick! May I ask your method for applying the product with the 3401 and white hybrid? (speed, work time, etc) Also, what size work area do you prefer when applying? Thanks!

I'm waiting on Mike to ground you for not taking any "before" pics.

Car looks great. Clean it, change the oil and drive that thing for 15 years!!

Nick, The Honda looks really great. I have detailed many of them and they have beautiful paint. The metallic is deeper and pops better than most. My daughter has one and when I wax it the quality and depth of the paint always amazes me.

Thanks fellas. :dblthumb2:

It is a very nice color, and it looks like it belongs on a much more expensive vehicle. When we were looking at all the colors on the lot when we bought the car, this one stood out the most. It's also an added bonus that the wheels are painted the same color as well. :dblthumb2:

I have the same color Accord. The only other color I liked was the blue thats available on the sedan, but not the coupe. The blue on the coupe is just a little to bright for my tastes. One thing I love about this color and colors similar is they hide defects (and dirt) very well.

Very nice! I'm diggin' those HFP wheels. :dblthumb2:

You're absolutely correct when you said this color does an excellent job hiding dirt.
