This 2013 Beetle had been to 2 different "detailers" prior to making it's way out to my place. The first detailer did the damage ( buffer trails ) and the 2nd were supposed to fix the damage but could not better the situation. After I heard this I knew that I would be up against a SH!T job , but would also have to prove myself throughout the detail. Showing the client why he needs to come back to Creative Car Detailing for a top of the line experience. Upon arrival I was shocked to see the condition of the car. 2013 Year model with 19 xxx km's on the clock

Not bad looking upon arrival

As usual I started out with Interior , Engine Bay , Door Shuds and Wheels. I did not take pics of this , mainly as it wasn't as bad as the rest of the car. After Wash and Dry , Iron'X and Claying , this was the damage I had to face

Whoever worked on the car before me used a combo FAR to aggro and thus damaging paint over the WHOLE car. I knew taking this out would be a tricky task esp with me being the 3rd detailer working on the paint. After test spots I decided on Menz FG 400 coupled with Yellow Cutting pads from Cyclo ( MY most aggro combo I can offer to a customer ). After 2 passes of my selected combo , here is some 50:50 shots from the bonnet.

As you can see there is swirl marks left in the vehicle but I decided NOT to remove any more clear coat than I had already removed up to this point. I then Proceeded to do the whole vehicle with 2 passes of the same combo , checking each pannel after each pass before moving on. After I had finished the whole car , I decided to use a glaze to cover up some of the damage left in the paintwork.

I then proceeded to Glaze the whole vehicle followed by Menz PL to Protect the paint from here on forward. Here is a few reflection shots from the paintwork that I captured after finishing the car

Nice work! It's too bad the other two didn't have your skills or knowledge - but you should have a customer for life now!

Thanx guys !! The condition was horible and the damage deep !! As I worked on the car it felt like I'm not making progress at all. Looking back at pics when it first came in I actuakky realize that it looks like a car again now.

Looked dull and horible before

Nice work! :dblthumb2:

What product did you use on the lower door trim? That looks fantastic! Most of my customers want shiny tires and trim, although I personally like it more subtle. But this is what I need for the paying customers!

Holy cow! What a difference. It looks like a whole new shade of red!! Great work.

It's gloss black from the factory. It's not plastic. Well it might be plastic underneath, but it's not traditional trim. It's like what they use for gloss black B pillars on most cars.

Gosh, hectic buffer trails and swirls!..
Good call on preserving the remaining clear coat. Nicely done bru!

I can imagine working on a customers car and giving it back to them in the condition the previous detailer did. Wow

Like said earlier, looks like a different shade of red, GOOD JOB!

Amazing results! Those after shots look amazing. It's sad that there are "detailers" out there causing that kind of damage to these cars; oh well, I guess more business for us.

Thanx for all the feedback guys !! My first thought when I saw the car was too that how the hell you call yourself a detailer , wreck a car like this , then proceed to phone the client and confirm his car is ready.

Thats just horible workmanship. I am proud to say that the owner was happy and his wife , well she was smiling from ear to ear when she saw the car.

Like mentioned , the trim on the doors is gloss black and not plastic !!
