I know I usually have good before and after pictures, but she was given to me in pretty good shape. Most rides I get a pretty beat up as most know. We’ll I did a mico polish with some menzerna super finish, sealed with menzerna power lock and topped it off with some fuzion wax. The hardest part of the job was giving the car back!

Like glass! Can't wait to take a polisher to my stang to make it flawless.

Very nice job, did you do any work on the decals such as correction and protection? If so, what products?

Beautiful car!

What did buffer did you use? I might have to pick up some new goodies because of this thread.

Thanks guys. This was a super fun car to do! The driver gave permission to drive it, but I declined. I only know one way to drive a car like that and I would have to own it first. The car had two different keys and depending on which one you used determined which tune the PCM used! It had a standard tune and performance tune for each key respectively.
About the detail...The biggest thing with this job as most would know who has done one are the stripes. Make sure when you mask off that you leave a very slight overhang passed the stripe. These stripes are very delicate and I would never attempt to polish them. I would also be careful as to what you put on them. Since they are matted they have a dual appearance depending on what angle you’re looking at them. Some products might affect its appearance in one direction, but not the other. Since the owner told me the car never sees the elements and is only driven on nice days I just played it safe and used detailers mist to clean up the edges after tape removal. I'm sure there are others who have done this car and added protection to the stripes. I'd still like to know myself.
The polisher used was my trusted flex 3401 with a flat LC white pad. I want to send a BIG thanks to Megan at AG for making sure the Fuzion made it out in time for me to receive it for this detail.

Will the 2013 Boss 302 be last year for that series? It might just be. Ford is completely redesigning the Mustang for 2015 to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of the mustang.

Time will tell if the end of the line for the Boss has come and gone. I hope not because its like apple pie.

well said. I did a boss a couple months ago and I spent a ton of time taping. but it was necessary. They are delicate like you said.

Worth noting you can Opti-Coat those stripes without any change in appearance. I did a test spot to confirm then later applied the coating to the paint and all the stripes. No polishing the stripes though for that would change its appearance

The yellow looks great on that mustang. It's always pays off to carefully tape off decals. I have seen too many decals with damage from others who did not take the time to tape off and cover them.
