I love this Corvette and it was time for the customer to have a PC done to it, after looking over the vehicle I noticed there was a lot of micro swirls and scratches within the paint so I had to help the customer understand what we are looking to achieve as he lacked some knowledge of what we where looking at because of course the vehicle looks good to the untrained eye (the customer) but once i showed him the baggie test and the sunlight test he then had a better understanding of what the issue was and wanted me to continue with the Paint Correction.
After running a few test spots with compounds and pads I found that 3M Rubbing Compound with LC Grey Heavy Cut Pad while using my Boss 21 gave me outstanding results.
We then followed up with 3M Machine Polish an with a Black LC pad to which ended up giving us a beautiful glossy pop that was immaculate looking!
After reviewing the vehicle and looking it over to ensure that nothing was untreated or over looked I then decided to go with Meguiar's Synthetic Sealant (21) for a decent long term protection, I really wanted to ceramic coat this vehicle and tried to talk the customer into it but once again lack of knowledge with in him withheld me from doing so but after all both him and I where very please with how this beauty came out!, enjoy!
