Tell you what I was impressed with the new Rupes products tonight as well as the Black Diamond Paint coating.Hard to believe how many scratches were on this newer car.The owner (Chris) said he will probably get better gas mileage his car is so slick.:buffing:

Just curious, I noticed you guys didn't tape off the body gaps (gap between hood & side fender). The compound/ polish doesn't get inside the gaps somehow? I thought I saw some of the guys buffing over the gaps. I guess you guys are really careful but I would assume even some dusting might get in.

Also the new Rupes Mini, I'm assuming it can correct on speeds 4-6 unlike the GG3 that you must keep on speed 6? Whats the throw (mm) difference between the Rupes Mini & GG3?

I enjoyed the live broadcast. Thanks for letting us watch in on the class. Good demonstrations and very informative. It seems everyone learns a lot and gets good hands on training. If I was closer I would like to attend the classes. I would prefer to be in sunny Florida right now than the cold Northeast!

Great question!

Here's the deal... with doors, trunk lids and hoods, even gas cap cover lids, you can open all these thing up to wipe out any splatter or dust or blow it out like we showed in the video.

To my knowledge, the Griot's Mini Polisher has the same orbit stroke length that the full size Griot's dual action polisher has as well as the PC and Meguiar's units and that is 8 mm. The Rupes Mini and the Rupes Duetto have a 12 mm orbit stroke length.

We ran all the tools full out on speed 6 except when spreading product out over a panel when starting out with fresh product.

They are in the AG store now along with all the Rupes products we carry. We brought the entire line in all at once at the beginning of 2013.

This thread you're posting to is the one that we streamed the live broadcast through [at that time].

I know it can get confusing but I don't like to remove these threads as they are filled with great discussions about the project too.

At the same time, I don't like to attached ALL the before, during and after pictures to a thread after there's already 12 pages built up.

The pictures would end up on these last pages and while you and I can find them we have thousands of Lurkers visit the AGO forum every day and some of them are not what you could call forum savvy. So I always created a dedicated thread with the before, during and after pictures featured on the first page.
