This car is less than 5000Km on the clock and washed only once after purchased...paint work condition was pretty much like when it left the dealership...BAD, lots of swilrs on the hood, contamination, etc, etc, etc.
1-) Detailed wasing. Using various brushes, car was snow foamed and all cracks and crevices cleaned throroughly.
2-) Step tire and rack removed from back door for proper paint correction and coating.
3-) Paintwork correction was performed using my RUPES LHR15, Rupes yellow pad and Sonax perfect finish. This combo has been very effective in different types of paint. Ford paint has a tendency to be a bit hard to work on...some places required more than one hit to properly remove all defects.
(Caption: ANTES = BEFORE, DEPOIS=AFTER)
4-) After correcting the paint, it was time to prime the paint using PolishAngel invincible primer. This is step was performed using a rotary and Lake Country Black foam pad. The primer itself left a deeper and shiner look. After waiting the cure time, the paint was topped with PA Cosmic 9H...just one layer (been told that 2 layers will leave a deeper look and will improve water repellency).
5-) Inspecting under sun light
Overall, this coating is very easy to be applied...one of the easiest I've used so far and the end result was amazing.
Hope you guys enjoy
