2013 Ford Edge Sport - Metallic Black - CQuartz Professional

BEFORE: Swirl city...It looked like "Spiderman attacked the car".

AFTER: Final Result...customer stated..."It looks like a mirror"!

After trying a few different pad/products combinations
A two-step process pad/compound/polishing worked great.
NOTE: Every paint is different - Always test first.

Correction:
Machine: Rupes 21 with a 5" backing plate.
Compounds: Meguiars M110 Ultra Pro Speed Compound
Pads: Meguiars Microfiber Cutting Disc - 5"

Polishing:
Machine: Rupes 15 with a 5" backing plate.
Compounds: Meguiars M210 Ultra Pro Finishing Polish
Pads: Rupes Yellow Fine Foam Pad - 5"

Last Step Products:
Cquartz Professional on paint and wheels
CarPro FORTE Professional Windshield Coat on glass
OBSSSSD Tire Dressing - Matte on tires
CQuartz Dlux Plastic & Wheel Coat on trim

Pictures 3 and 4....wow! Not only is it a mirror, but it’s a super rich, dark black. The wheels/tires and wheel wells look great. I think you sterilized that enough to have in an operating room.

Interestingly enough it was a metallic...not a gloss black.

That's what I like to hear...better than "showroom new".
 
I’m sure the metallic will pop big time in direct sunlight. Nice compliment from the owner.
 
Nothing short of outstanding! No doubt the owner gladly handed over the $$$ after seeing his black mirror.
