Our family has been using this car for about half a year now, it got really dirty to the point where salt covered the whole vehicle and it was hard to look at

Started with rim cleaning -Meguiars non acid at 4 to 1 works well

Then a 50 /50 mix of 4 oz of dawn and 4 oz of meguiars gold class in my foam gun

cleaned out the mats and vacummend the interior a bit

did a second slightly stronger wash to get rid of all the salt

I ran out of time, but I will do a full paint decon and wax later with some opti bond gel to the tires

Great job, I need to put some XMT360 on the wife's Edge.

Good start on the spring clean-up! :xyxthumbs:

Wait a minute...
It's already Spring up your way?
It was just Groundhog Day in my neck if the woods! :(

My wife has an orange 2008 Edge. We love that vehicle and the color looks awesome when polished.

Can't wait to see your finished pics :xyxthumbs:

Coming along great. I can't stand white dried layer of salt on car.

I am sorry to say it , but I hate this fake chrome, far away it looks nice, but up close it looks bad. Theres so much film from the road that is hard to get off. I am always resorting to hand waxing each rim for about 30 minutes to make them look good

Quick tip, to clean tires I use the quickie yellow bristle long handle brush. I spray some cleaner, let it sit and then scrub the tire hard for about 30 seconds.

I highly recommend this for anyone looking to clean tires well
