I had also posted a question about this baby last week. Lets just say I was shocked when I got there. Job was correct and coat with Americoat. I arrived to find it had a paint protection film applied and the paint was rough. Like the dealers kid prepped with an old rotary with wool at 3000 RPM and 3M super duper heavy cut.
I took shots of the driver side which was the only side getting sun. For continuity I turned the car around to keep the driver side in the sun.
Some before shots:

Wash was gold class from Megs, wheels got 505 and Sonax with several different brushes. Iron X and medium grade speedy prep towel after the wash. Pulled into the garage and got to work.
Based on suggestions I tried Menz 4000 on a white hybrid, got great results.

However there were still some finer scratches so I dropped down to Menz 2500 on the same pad.

So onward I went, polished the car and did wipe down with prepsol. I found I was able to work some of the issues out on the PPF but I did not get crazy. I offered to pull the film but they wanted it kept on. Car was coated with Americoat, tires got Black Pearl.
After shots, full sun! (I am not normally a mobile guy, but it sure was nice having full sun for afters!)

As you can see, the film is "better" but not perfect, I also removed 5lbs of wax from the seam.

The exhaust I tried to get cleaned and polished. I only brought P21s, I should have brought something stronger but I didn't.
