I'm doing some initial correction of the factory paint on my 2013 Honda Accord. The primary objective is trying to remove at least some of the excessive factory orange peel (since I know I can't reasonably remove it all).

I'll update this thread and I go, but figured I'd post a quick little before and after teaser:

All so did the car come with dealer instilled swirls? sure know them dealerships are famous for that sort of thang. Weird to me how car companys can send a car out of the factory with orange peel on it it's just kind of sad you probably agree!!!! good job though

I can't say for sure if it did as I ran it through a brush car wash a few times before I started polishing on it. The reason I ran it through the wash was because their name sounded like a touchless wash, but by the time I paid for the wash (and monthly membership) and was on my way to go in, it was too late. As for the orange peel, I looked at other Accords, and they're all just as bad.

I recently completed work on the driver's side mirror of my Accord. I used CarPro's Denim Orange Peel Pads (in my experience, the denim pads on a DA are equivalent to the velvet pads on a rotary) on a 3" GG DA with Menzerna FG400. I removed the mirror, which includes the sail panel, completely disassembled it (so I could reach all areas with my DA), and worked separately on each of the three painted pieces. Here are the results:
