When I look at the picture below I see two things,
1. A decal or graphic that's dull
2. Something all over the paint below it?
I agree. Stop "touching" it in any way and take it back to the dealership.
If all goes well you'll get it replaced.
Note: Whatever happens, don't let them buff out your truck or even wash it as what normally happens is you just get more damage.
You have to be stern with whoever you deal with when you let them know you don't want their lot boy washing it or their in-house detailer buffing it out.
If he wants to know why, tell him to Google...

Can someone help me figure this pain in the rear. I would like that decal to reflect the rest of the truck.

Before you try removing it or fixing it yourself, go to the dealer and talk to them. Tell them exactly what you told us about how they waxed the truck for you. I'm guessing you haven't had the truck long, probably a couple weeks?
The longer you wait to bring the issue up with them the more reluctant they will be to resolve the issue.
