First, I was about to toss speed in the trash---It was on bottom of my list in removing swirls.

This is one really massive truck. Needed a step ladder to reach the roof and the hood!

The objective was a simple and quick buff to enhance gloss, nothing else.

Did a test---McKee's 360. Disappointing. Fell flat on it's face. Removed swirls just fine---lack gloss. It left a dull finish.

Thought---tried speed. Whoa...paint just popped and swirls mostly removed as well.

Guess speed needs to go back to the top my list now!

I went fast---moderate arm movements, 4 section passes and moved on. This is the fastest polishing I've ever done to date. Completed the whole polishing step approx. 4 1/2 hours.

Rupes 15mk II
Rupes yellow pad and HD Speed.

Done...

Incredible work, Tom!

HD+ and Speed are always my go-to with GG cremes a close second.

What's the difference between HD polish+ and Speed? And How do they compare to each other---if you don't mind me asking.

Plus (+) is a pure polish with a little more correction ability than Speed, which is an AIO. Speed IME is a blend of HD+ and HD Poxy.

Truck was simply too massive to consider multiple steps. And to add to that, they wanted ready for delivery the follow morning!

Started polishing at 5 pm --- done at 9:30.

I wasn't hustling. Took my time and simply enjoyed the process.

This was a nice zen-like detail.

Thank you, Trip...

Tom great turn-n-burn on that beast. Do you have the new BlackFire one step? I also love HD Speed but on black and dark colors the BlackFire removes more defects in the same time.

Yes...I do have the BLACKFIRE one step. It was third bottle on list.

Started with McKee's 360. Was ok...gloss wasn't there.

Next was the HD Speed. Perfect---easy, fast, swirls mostly gone, Hologram killer too! Paint gloss was unreal.

Never got to the third on list---Blackfire AIO. I know this cuts more than the other 2 listed above. Wanted to get rid of Speed. It was sitting around for some time and thought it'll be good to use it up.
Now, I'm in love with speed again! Dang---old love never dies...! grin.

That's not supposed to happen! I would like to send you a new bottle along with a pre-paid shipping label for you to send your current bottle back to me. Would you be okay with that? Please email me: [email protected]
