I did a Subaru WRX STI last weekend. I called the car swirlzilla. I spent a full day on making this baby a mirror. Then again...I mostly do black cars

Wheels: Sonax Fe

Foam: GC Citrus
2 Buckets: GC Citrus
Iron and fallout: IronX
Clay Bar

That STi looks beautiful. Very nicely done!!

I enjoyed watching a video, too. Pretty cool idea and a refreshing change from photos. I dig it.

More comimg :) got a few cars coming in this weekend

Great job and great video!

Was the paint sticky as they say?

I did 3 Subaru STI and yes the paint is very sticky
I managed to counter that with smaller sections.

I would look better in MY garage

Beautiful work malin! I'm with CaveRacing...i love seeing videos too. Nicely presented and thanks for sharing it with us.

x3 on the video. Showcased the job and results well!

Awesome work done on the STi! Look forward to seeing your work from this weekend.

What was your pad selection on the rupes? I just did my first Subi last weekend, used a flex with a white pad and Menz 4000. Sticky paint is not much fun!

its a chupes :)
B&S MF pad for cutting (small sections since only way no to get sticky)
LC White pad for polishing

The B&S is the thick backed one with orange foam? Thanks for the tip!

Yes indeed! It provides less cut then the Meguiars MF disks. Good combo for soft paint...and removes defects with less passes
