Man I remember Smokey and the Bandit and wanted a Trans Am soooo bad.
Great commercial and looks to be an awesome car!

Very nice car. I wanted the Smokey & The Bandit car too!

Had one years ago, wish I still did. But,...... mine went around a pole. I was going 35 mph and lost it in the rain.

Something else to add to the 'someday' list. I still want an original but I guess I could get by w/ one of these. Eastbound & down!

Glad to see the Screaming Chicken made a comeback .....

I never liked the taillights on the new Camaro's myself. The nose and tails on the T/A conversion is so much better IMO.

Here was my new 1979 Silver Anniversary Trans/Am the day I bought her.

This was my 1975 T/A with a built 355 Corvette LT1...
this car was fast and got me quite a few tickets lol

I had a black and gold 76 TA 400 Auto. with t tops. I miss it. a guy I work with has a 1980 black 301 turbo he wants to sell. between 8-9k. I think it has 30 something thousand miles. It's in PA. It's was always in a garage.

That's a rare bird if it's a formula, low mileage too!

Sorry, but this is just more evidence that Pontiac should have pulled their head out of their ass back in the day.. Same for GM!! Shoulda never axed the car or the brand..

Anyway, rant over..

That's a really good buy IMO. There is an 80 turbo on e-bay with 111,000 miles that has bids at $14,000 with a BIN for $19,900

I almost traded my Silver Anniversary for a white 1981 Turbo Nascar Daytona 500 Pace Car. Took it home for a test drive... the (ex) old lady said it was horrendous and she wouldn't ever drive it! I said you won't have to... it's mine. Then she stomped off slamming the front door. Should have bought it any way lol.

I still say the new T/A rear tail panel looks much better than it's original Camaro's
