hi Geeks,

this customer contacted me to get his car detailed and glass coated. the car was 4 months old, but you will see that the defects were so bad due to wrong washing method, DIY polishing, etc.

first time using Gyeon Mohs+ and Gyeon Phobic. easy products to apply and buff. just remember to give enough time to cure (minimum 6 hours) for first layer otherwise the second and third coat will streak and harden and you have to repolish.

the ammo:
ONR
speedy prep clay towel
automiracling compound (a friend made his own compound and i am testing)
CG V38 for final polish
IPA as usual
Gyeon Mohs+ 2 layers
Gyeon Phobic
BFWD to prevent waterspots while the coating harden (as recommended by Gyeon itself to wax after at least 12 hours).

Kind Regards.

I had to Google this Gyeon...never heard of it. I can't find where it is made. Regardless, the pics are a good endorsement for it. It looks great.

Excellent work, and I have to say that's one of the most cleanest most shiniest Honda ive seen

Seriously, that paint looks like black glass! I don't think I've ever seen a black car look THAT shiny.

thanks! true, i wasn't correcting every single defect because it was already a huge turnaround and the paint was so soft that I marred it a few times when wiping.

wow this thing turned out awesome!! great job!!! what pad set up and machine did you use?

thanks! I used:
- Rupes 15 with Optimum MF Pad for cutting
- Flex Pe 14-2 with LC CCS Constant Pressure Black pad for finishing
- smaller and curvier area with flex pe :)
