Every time this one family buys a new car, they drop it off to be detailed; the mother in the family calls it the, "new car treatment". The dad just dropped off this pretty cream colored Corolla S. It's overcast & little drizzly outside and the new neighbors think I'm nuts, but it's a great day to detail. Today: after washing it down with ONR, the next step was Iron-X, then clay. The Iron X showed a lot of embedded pollution and the clay shaved off even more. Tomorrow will be Klasse Sealant on the car, Chemical Guys Wheel Guard.

Nice detail, I really like how you showed the iron particles

I see that you're in San Antonio as well. Do you ever wash cars with hose/running water out in the drive way? How do you deal with run off? If so, do people ever give you crap about SAWS and stuff?

When I wash cars, I almost always use ONR with pre-soaked towels (like 99% of the time) and I read somewhere a while back to use Iron-X on white cars. I turned the water on only to wash off panels as they were completed. Since it was overcast and cool the Iron-X drying on the paint was not an issue. Thanks for the compliments guys.

I have resorted to going to touchless washes and then finishing my details at home (my own cars, that is). That way the neighbors or HOA have nothing to complain about. I also use Rinseless for light cleaning.

Later,
Lee
