2014 GTR Correction tease

So gentlemen getting all the dealer induced swirls out before I stowe the car for the winter here is some teaser pics of the door.
Products used
Meguiars rinse less express wash
Clay
Iron x
Dried with leaf blower
Correction with flex 3401 dual action
Mezerna Pf2500 with LC flat white pad
Menzerna 4500 LC Grey flat pad

Haven't put any sealent on but will be using the fire over ice combo

I thought the GT-R has "Self-healing" paint

Shouldn't you have just used a blow dryer?

No not at all gtr has terrible paint super soft

I have an expel wrap on the hood bumper rockers and rear bumper though so those areas I could just take a blow dryer lol

deep blue pearl, gun metallic, solid red and super silver have an "anti-chipping coating" on the top of the front grille and the front of the rear fender. they also have double clear coat.

pearl white, jet black and regal red (new color) have Scratch Shield paint.

there should be a stand alone warning decal under the hood indicating what it has.

good question. the OP should have that answer. OP, did you notice anything with that?

i'm curious about that tech.

and also, if a Nissan facility repairs the cars, do they reapply said anti-chipping coating to those areas? i can understand if the grilles just get replaced, come pre-painted and thus, from the factory with that stuff. but rear quarters would obviously be a different story.

Quite honestly the anti chipping coat is a joke. You can ask any gtr owner never worked. Polishing wise not at all reacts just the same as normal paint. To be hi eat gtr paint is the softest pain I have ever delt with.
