Hi guys,
I have not been active on the forum but that all changed a week ago when my wife bought a new 2014 Bright White Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland :xyxthumbs:.
We had been wanting this SUV for the past 2 yrs but held because of bad timing.
When we bought the SUV I told the dealership to not touch the car. To my surprised they listened because they pointed to a new car that had just rolled in. This car was fresh off the delivery truck and still had the plastic on the wheels and all interior. We checked the mileage and saw 3 miles! I quickly took it home and placed an order for Cquartz and Opt-Coat from Autogeek.
Here are some so/so pics using my iphone. The interior is really nice, we went with a bright white color and tan interior because my black on black 2005 infiniti G35 taught me a lesson. I did not want another black vehicle, that would be murder, especially out here in Palm Springs CA, where summer temps can reach 125F.
Also, I did not know CarPro released Cquartz Finest, I would have tried to get my hands on that even though I am a weekend warrior. Does Carpro let you sign a waiver to buy Cquartz Finest? I know Opti-Coat was doing this when they first released their Opti-Coat product. I would much preferred to use CQ Finest, instead I opted for a double coat of Cquartz.
Wash: 2 Bucket+CarPro Wool Mitt+ CG W&C+Iron X
Polish: Menzerna PO 85rd on LC Gray Pad
Paint Prep: CarPro Eraser (smells great and works really good)
Protection: Cquartz
Wheels: Opticoat 2.0 and Optimum Tire Gel for Tires
PICS
Fresh off the Chrysler Lot to my house

Me taking the plastic wrapping, car still smells like new, leather fresh!

Oak Glen, CA trip
