:buffing: had to do my car after rough winter,

Figured i clean it up and use Cquartz.

Rupes 21
Rupes LHR 75
Flex 3401

Rupes Zephir
Menzerna SF4500

wiped down with Eraser
Cquarts
Reload

That's what I was going to ask! Most lower- to mid-priced European-brand or global cars (Cruze, Focus) have orange peel in the color coat these days because of the flow characteristics of the water-based paints. Have a look at the 1 series or X3, CLA/GLA, or A3/A4.

there is orange peel but not to bad. Or should i say minimal.
ill see if i can take picture of it.

i noticed that a lot of newer cars have a lot of orange peel. all that water based paints and very thin clear make them look terrible from day one.
this is their cost saving. Paint is applied thinner so its made to dry quicker, thats the end result. it also chips much easier on new cars then old ones.

I noticed that when I was at the dealership. Amazed at the amount of cars with some orange peel. The paint on my Touareg was surprisingly better than the Jetta's in the same color.
