First up is the S4. The owner of this car is a true car guy, having owned a 3000GT VR-4, various Nissan 240SXs, a couple Ducattis (currently an 848 Evo, beautiful bike), and most recently the IS350F that I coated with CQuartz UK. While the IS350 was an elegant, comfortable and somewhat quick car, the lack of a manual and potential for real power led the owner to purchase this S4. It’s a 2014, 6-speed manual in Glacier White Metallic with two-tone white and black leather, Bang & Olufsen sound, Prestige package, torque vectoring rear differential, etc. Having ridden in both cars I can say that the Audi is definitely more entertaining and should really come alive once the owner upgrades the ECU and a few other things which should result in around 400 awhp. As a car nut the owner wanted maximum protection for his new car (CQuartz) and was a little concerned with the condition of the paint upon delivery. The car had sat on the showroom floor for about four months prior to purchase and had seen its fair share of improper washing or wipe-downs, probably performed with haste and with no concern for the paint by a salesman after each test drive. The result was a fair amount of marring, some of which was moderately deep (including some RIDS), which necessitated a two-step correction in order to remove 90%+ of the defects and allow the metallic flake to pop. I decided to use M205 paired with Meguiars MF cutting pads for correction work, using the Rupes 21 for the large panels and the Rupes 75E 3-inch spot polisher for tighter areas including the A-pillars, the rear of the decklid, the bumpers, etc. After some thorough correction and inspection of my work using high-lumen LED lighting (very necessary given how hard it is to spot defects in white paint) I turned to M205 with Lake Country foam finishing pads to refine the paintwork, again using the Rupes 21 for the larger areas and the 75E on the tighter spots. After another round of inspection the paint was thoroughly cleaned with IPA & distilled water to remove all polishing oils and anything that could interfere with the bonding of CQuartz. Following this all painted surfaces including the body, door jams, trunk jam, wheel faces, etc were thoroughly coated. The tires were dressed with Meguiars #38 tire and trim gel.
Before pics, the marring was hard to show accurately given the white paint:

This CRV was done last summer for the owner of the CLK550 AMG I posted up. This one was a 2013 IIRC and was mainly in need of a light cleaning. The interior was thoroughly vacuumed, dry brushed and then cleaned with horse hair brushes, OPC @ 3:1 dilution and then dressed with 1z Cockpit Premium (Leather Masters on the leather). The exterior received an ONR wash, clay with Clay Magic Blue and then a light polish using HD Speed & the Rupes 21 & 75E. Additional protection was provided via Optiseal topped with Meguiars D156, all trim was dressed with 3D Thick. The tires received 3D Thick topped with 3D Ultra.
